The rates below are what you pay: the provider’s list price with our 1.3× metering margin applied, per million tokens. Costs round up at the micro-credit and settle to an append-only ledger, one entry per call.

Cache economics · Anthropic reads cache at 0.1× input and charges 1.25× to write; OpenAI writes for free and reads at 0.1–0.25× by family. The meter knows the difference, so a cached prompt costs what the provider actually charges — not a flat guess.
Mock models · mock:* models are priced at the flagship rate on purpose, so a test run exercises the exact billing path a production run will — reservations, settlement, caps and all.

A pack is a number
Buy $25, hold $25. Packs are priced at exactly their credit value — the margin lives in the meter, not in the exchange rate, which is the only version of prepaid credit that survives contact with an invoice.

Spending rules that act before the spend
- Reserve, then settle
- Every model call reserves its maximum cost before it runs and settles the true amount after. A fan-out of parallel calls cannot collectively overshoot one cap.
- Per-run budgets
- A run carries a hard ceiling. It stops just short of the line — before the call that would cross it, never after.
- Organization budgets
- Monthly thresholds notify as they are crossed, and a hard limit blocks new runs at admission. Enforced against the live ledger, not a cached number.
- Auto top-up
- Optional. When spendable credit falls under your threshold, a saved card is charged off-session — at most once every six hours, never more than your configured amount.
- An append-only ledger
- Corrections are new entries; history is never rewritten. Every night the books are reconciled: the sum of the ledger must equal the balance, to the micro-credit.
